A Song for Today

A song from Charley resident, Sarah Poole, composed and performed during Lockdown.

my latest song to celebrate some of the lock down measures being lifted, it's called "Butterfly" I recorded remotely with a flute player, his brother gave it a full studio production- an unexpected bonus, so some good things are coming out of doing things differently at least.

Enjoy!

Blessings

Sarah

Commemoration of VE Day

Today, instead of all the planned activities and sharing of the stories of those in our Parish who remember the actual day 75 years ago, we shall stand in silence in our own gardens and fields and think of all those who served our country yesterday, those serving today in all walks of life and raise a 'virtual' glass of thanksgiving.
