Three Churches Flower Festival

Three Churches Flower Festival

As a part of the national Heritage Open Days scheme Charley Parish Council is working with St James the Greater, Oaks in Charnwood, St Peter's, Copt Oak and Mount St Bernard Abbey, to present a joint Flower Festival to commemorate the approaching centenary of the ending of World War One. The theme ' Service and Sacrifice' will depict our thank you to all those who lived and died through those years. The churches will be open on the 15th and 16th September from 11.00 to 16.00 and, in addition, the 'Beambender' WW2 site in St Joseph's Field will also be open to the public. Further information can be seen on www.heritageopendays.org.uk and entering a LE postcode.
