It is with sadness that we announce the death on 5th December 2018 of Mr John Oakland. John was a past Chairman of Charley Parish Council and founder of the Oaks in Charnwood Garden Club. Details of his funeral will be announced when available.

Road Closure

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE

CHARLEY ROAD AND B591 COPT OAK ROAD, CHARLEY

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order to enable Leicestershire County Council to safely undertake carriageway resurfacing at the junction of Charley Road and the B591 Charley.
